Netgear RN212D24 100NES Ethernet not working

Hi All,
My Netgear stoped working!
I've tried to RE Flash the unit by the boot menu:OS reinstall Disk 2 LED lights Ive build a USB reinstall stick and still not getting any Ethernet on the switches have tried different cables and switches.
- What is the proper way of re-flashing the system from a USB Switch
- How can I test the Ethernet system

Try powering down the NAS and booting up diskless.  Then check the LEDs on the RN214 NIC and router or switch.  

Of course check both NICs on the RN214, and ideally try two different cables and two different ports on the router/switch.

If the LEDs show the normal status, then install RAIDar and see if it can find the NAS.  https://kb.netgear.com/20684/ReadyNAS-Downloads

If it finds the NAS, then try pinging the IP address.

USB disk?

I wouldn't do that at this point.
