I have an old Ultra 4 ReadyNAS which has been super reilable for many years, but it's getting a bit old, and a bit slow, so I am planning to upgrade to the RN424. My primary purpose is backup storage, but I also use the Ultra 4 to run Logitech Media Server (LMS) for a dozen different Squeezeboxes. I really don't want to lose the LMS functionality, so I'd like to know whether I can install a version of LMS on the RN424 and get it to work. I know this is an obsolete product, but I'm heavily invested in the players, and very much like the system, so I prefer not to have to switch to a different music streaming system.
Has anybody got LMS working on the RN424? I'm not afraid to open up a root account and do whatever installs are needed, I would just like to know what I'm getting into before I go down that road.
Thanks.

Yes, there's a version available on the Apps tab or at apps.readynas.com for the ReadyNAS OS6 System or you can download the files provided on this threads.

Thank you. That will certainly help to ease the transition from old to new.
