Suggestion: Windows ReadyNAS Remote Client for SPARC
- Remove things that do not work: READYDROP (for example)
- Special emphasis on speed (CIFS)
- Open Source (?)
Or ... just the opposite:
Integrate with the ReadyCloud .....

SPARC support
BRLabs,
Netgear will be minimizing Sparc support. Firmware upgrades for Sparc will become much rarer,
unless there are a large number of field issues to justify. Units ceased manufacture around 2009/2010.
I am a former employee, but I think overall Sparc assistance from Tech support will cease in 2017.
Let me give you another angle. The company wants you to buy a new unit with Remote client features,
rather than upgrade past versions.
Hope I haven't spoilt the season of Goodwill, 🙂
Marto.

Re: Suggestion: Windows ReadyNAS Remote Client for SPARC
Same goes for the x86 systems running 4.2 firmware. Its all End of Life. They don't get new sales by updating features/firmware on those units. It's all a push to the new OS6 units.
