Re: Transmission add-on crashing on ReadyNas Duo
The share is automatically created when you install the Transmission add-on for Sparc or x86.
Do you have the Duo v1 or the Duo v2?

Re: Transmission add-on crashing on ReadyNas Duo
The "C" share is for the C volume and is accessed when you login to CIFS (i.e. \\ip.address.of.nas) as "admin" (the Frontview user).

When you're logged into Frontview, go to the menu item "Security" then click "Admin Password"

Re: Transmission add-on crashing on ReadyNas Duo
You can not change the password using the webinterface, you will have to edit the settings.json file.
Stop the Transmission add-on and open settings.json
Change "rpc-password" and "rpc-username" to whatever you want. The password should be between the "" and not start with {.
After saving the file, start the Transmission add-on again.
It will automatically change the plain-text password in the settings file to a encoded one and save that.
Make sure to set "rpc-authentication-required" to true or it will not use the username/password

Re: Transmission add-on crashing on ReadyNas Duo
I'm having trouble getting Transmission 2.40 to work on an Ultra 2. Regardless of which setting file I use (I've tried the settings files that's been posted) I get "permission denied opening folder XXX" after a while and the transfer is aborted.
Do I need to makesome chmod-changes for it to work?

Make sure this is done for both the shares which contain the downloaded and incomplete folders if they aren't in the same share.
Sorted, thanks!!!
