"Installation is not allowed due to a name conflict" error

I'm getting this, trying to install ReadyNAS Remote on a new Ultra 4. Other threads have pointed to the error probably being due to a restore from a previous config backup, but I don't know how to edit the required config. Anyone advise?
Thanks

Re: "Installation is not allowed due to a name conflict" err

So you did restore a config backup?

/etc/default/services and /etc/frontview/addons/addons.conf would probably have entries for ReadyNAS Remote. You should have re-installed those add-ons before restoring the config.

You could either unzip the config backup, edit the files using an appropriate text editor e.g. Notepad++ (not to be confused with Notepad which would muck up the formatting) then zip up the etch folder and restore that.

Another option would be to use SSH (if you have that installed and are comfortable with using it) and use the "vi" command to edit the files.

Or you could possibly do a factory default (wipes all data, settings, everything) and start again.

Great, sorted now. Managed to edit the file. Now just got to restore my data sinceI did a factory reset instead of OS reinstall :slap:
Cheers
