Balancing does not help with "no space left" despite there is capacity available.

ReadyNAS 4220 with Firmware 6.4.2 shows 2.64 TB free of 54.53 TB but there's no chance to write data on it. It's a backup store so data on this NAS insn't backed up. For aging the data we need write access to the filesystem.

I've tried to free spache through balancing, but this isn't possible.

root@NAS16:/# df -h /data
Filesystem      Size  Used Avail Use% Mounted on
/dev/md/data-0   55T   52T  2.7T  96% /data
root@NAS16:/# btrfs balance start /data -dusage=96
ERROR: error during balancing '/data' - No space left on device
There may be more info in syslog - try dmesg | tail

So what's the best way to to get free space.

Überprüfe mit mount, ob das Volume read-only (ro) ist.
