Authenticating ReadyNAS Pro 6 bound to AD without DOMAIN\ ?
I'm a bit confused about the way a bound Readynas Pro handles authentication versus a ReadyNAS NV+. With both boxes bound to the same domain, both authenticate completely differently. The Pro 6 requires the username to be formatted as DOMAIN\user. The NV+ only requires the username. I've compared the smb.conf files but don't see a difference that would explain this.

They aren't running the same version of samba, the 4.2.x firmware for the x86 systems is running a far more recent version.
