Disk scrubbing skipped due to degraded OS volume. [Volume C]

I'm Getting this error lately and am wondering if there is any thing I can do? Everything indicates the Volumes, Array, Disk and Chassis are healthy, but it still wont scrub.

I don't have a support contract and the device is out of warranty, so I can't call support.

Mdstat.log....

If you purchased new, then you should still be able to call them - ask for per-incident support.

What firmware are you running?

md0 shows two failed devices - sdj1[9](F) ... sdf1[5](F)  That should be the OS partition, and it is RAID-1 with lots of mirrors so it shouldn't be degraded.  But it might be related to your problem.  Maybe take a closer look at sdj and sdf (SMART stats, etc).

Running RAIDiator 4.2.28 - nothing amiss in the logs for SDF or SDJ - it is odd that they have dropped out of the RAID1 for md0 though.

I can't find an actual number to call believe it or not, the support webpage is Kafkaesque  to say the least. 🙂 Any Hints os to where to find a number?

If you have a current support contract you'd be able to call. Your NAS was purchased over 90 days ago so the included basic phone support ran out a long, long while ago.
