We are using an application (Egnyte) that requires SMB connections, however we have issues with Mac users connected to the ReadyNAS via SMB.
The issues range from not being able to see folder updates made by other users (finder seems to be caching the folder names) to losing permissions on the share when someone else makes changes. Disconnecting and then reconnecting gets you back to a good connection with all updates. The cause seems to be the Mac Finder and implementation of SMB, just wondering if anyone else has come across this and has any solutions.

Still have the same issue, it seems to be the way Apple have implemented SMB and the application we are using requires SMB - they plan an update this half year, so we have to struggle on until then
