NTFS over SMB
I'm looking to replace an aging Windows file server with a ReadyNAS product. My question is whether I can present a SMB share formatted in NTFS using the internal disks? The idea being the NAS could join AD and behave much in the same way a windows server would.
Thanks,
Dan

You can present an SMB share (the NAS has SAMBA built in), but the NAS file system is btrfs. That shouldn't matter to your users though.
ReadyNAS OS 6 systems supports AD. There is one caveat - if the NAS is configured to use AD then you cannot use it with ReadyCloud.
