Writing a pointy answer to the comments here made me think and I came up with the solution
I wrote the name of the NAS as (e.g) 192.168.1.1 not (e.g) MyCompanyNAS
Now I can export the certificate and get rid of the warning.
Thanks for your input!

Re: RN314 firmware 6.6.0 How to export self made certificate to my Windows 7
-the certs are self-signed, which will generate a security warning
-deprecation of sha-1 is also resulting in more warnings in the browser.
How are you trying to export the cert?

You do realize that a certificate warning doesn't mean the HTTPS connection is not secure, right?
Are you using your NAS on a highly exposed network? Do you use samba?
