Thanks Stephen and MDGM!
Here're all my apps which are installed from NETGEAR Apps. (LogAnalyzer, osticket, phpmyadmin, sugarcrm and SMB Plus)
I found that some sub-folders which is under "/var/" and "/ " ,the ownership became guest guest ...!! Maybe that is the cause and make the SMB service cannot startup!
But i may wonder, i just did a firmware upgrade, why /how can they change the ownership of the folders with above applications as all are downloaded from NETGEAR Apps.
Can anyone advise how to prevent next time?
I've 6TB data, honestly it is quit hard to do a full backup and i got 3 iscsi target as well.!

What does the ownership of directories look like on your root volume?

Sounds like you may have installed an app that messed up the ownership of some directories.

Since only SMB service cannot startup . can i use chown -R to grant the "root" permission back to the SMB service folder ..etc .. ?

Unfortunately not all of the files are owned by root. Some are owned by admin.
