Ready nas 426 changing raid type
Hi there,
We have recently purchased the following product -
https://www.uk.insight.com/en-gb/productinfo/network-storage-nas/0007172945
The device has been setup and running. Now I would like to change the raid type to 6.
To do that I was trying to login to the admin and delete the current volume and create a new volume with new raid type. That was my initial plan.
But when I hit http://<IP ADDR>/admin then there is a prompt box to input user & password. We didn't setup any user and password initially so when we tried /password_recovery following the below instructions then I am stuck as no option matches of what I get on the screen.
Is there any other way to recover/reset admin user & password or may be reinstalling/rediscovering the device from scratch.
This is a new device and no data is there.
Any help is highly appreciated.
Many thanks,
Raj

Re: Ready nas 426 changing raid type
The username for the admin account is always admin. The default password is password.
