We have one ReadyNAS 314 and would like to start replicating to an offsite location using a second ReadyNAS. We are considering purchasing the current 424 model, but would like to confirm the ReadyNAS Replicate works between the different modes before purchasing.
Does the ReadyNAS Replicate work when using different model ReadyNAS devices?
Thanks,
John.

Yes. ReadyNAS Replicate is not bound to the hardware, it's available on all OS6 units. You will be able to use ReadyNAS Replicate between your ReadyNAS 314 and a ReadyNAS 424.
You may also want to read about another feature called ReadyDR, which is only available on x86 OS6 units, including RN314 and RN424.
