Re: ReadyNAS RND-6E Password reset
Netgear has set up a community forum specifically for the ReadyNAS products. Most of the people who watch that forum are more likely to have experience with ReadyNAS (RN Series) products. Might be more likely to find someone who has a solution if the question is posted there:
https://community.netgear.com/t5/New-ReadyNAS-Users-General/bd-p/readynas-general
Please use this link to the main forum product list to review and choose where to make your posts.

Thank you.

Re: ReadyNAS RND-6E Password reset
Welcome to the community!
To reset the admin password, you'll have to perform an OS reinstall.
For your guidance, please follow the instructions on how to perform it here.
Please note that performing an OS reinstall will not wipe your data, it will just reset the password to its default password (password), reset network settings to use DHCP, and disable volume quota.
Also, I'm not sure what model you were referring to since its tag is RN526X, if possible, you could PM me the serial number of the device so I can confirm its model.
Regards,
JeraldM
