I have upgrade a RAID1 volume capacity from 2 x 4TB to 2 x 6TB in a RN316
I have created a the new RAID1 volume (2 x 6TB) and now want to create a sharefolder in order to copy back the data on the new volume
The disk array is lit green but I get an error "1013030001 Commit failed" when I try to create a folder on the volume
The other Volumes (also RAID1) are working fine.
Does anyone have an idea what this error number means and how to solve the problem?
Thanks

Hello komm_it,
It may be best you contact support center for this. I did try this on our own unit and was able to create shares on 3 different volumes with no problem.

Hello komm_it,
What's the status of the 2nd volume? What does it say under Volumes?

Re: commit failed error 1013030001 when creating a new share
Hello JennC,
Here a screenshot of the volumes.
ARRAY_2 is the volume where I can't create share folder and giving the error 1013030001
The other 2 volumes (DISK_2 and DISK_3) are working fine and I can create new folders on them.

Re: commit failed error 1013030001 when creating a new share
Hello komm_it,
Is this the last volume you created or the 2nd?
Since I believe this volume ARRAY_2 is still empty, have you tried destroying its volume and creating a new one? What's the FW version, by the way?

Re: commit failed error 1013030001 when creating a new share
Hello JennC
ARRAY_2 is the last Volume I created.
DISK_2 and DISK_3 were created long ago.
No I haven't try to destroy the volume and recreate it since I've just created it. But pehaps something went wrong…
I'm going to destroy the Volume and create a new one as you suggest.
I'll let you know the result…
FW is 6.4.1. I wanted to recreate the volume and copy the data back before upgrading to 6.4.2
I will upgrade to 6.4.2 as well after the volume is destroyed
Thanks

Re: commit failed error 1013030001 when creating a new share
Hello BrianL,
Unfortunately, destroying and recreating the volume "ARRAY_2" didn't help.
I still get an error 1013030001 when creating a share…
Any suggestion?
