readynas 316 management service is offline
we are having a readynas 316, its operation fine but it says "management service is offline" due to which we are not able to open admin page . though network folders/data is accesible but we are not able to create/manage new/existing shares. we are also not able to update firmware(6.2.4).we have tried restart also but it didnot work.please help

Can you open RAIDar 6.2 and download the logs and send those in (see the Sending Logs link in my sig)?
The firmware can be updated using https://ip.address.of.nas/fwbroker
However it is best to try and identify why the management service is offline first and confirm that the 4GB root volume has plenty of free space on it. Depending on the problem it may/may not be advisable to try updating the firmware.

I gather from your PM that you updated the firmware and the problem is now resolved?
