That will work, with two cautions
(a) If you have an NV+ v2, you'll need to get a used v2. Similarly with a v1.
(b) Many used NAS aren't functional.
If you have a spare disk, you can insert that into the replacement NV+ first, and then make sure it is running the same firmware that is on your current NV+

Would the easiet thing be to purchase another NV+ chassis and put them in there, then put the info on a fresh HDs in the 214?
I don't mind searching for an NV+ if that is the best and easiest way.
