Nighthawk Router just Searching

Just received my Michael M6 router and got an EE data sim which didn’t work. Lots of time spent with customer support at EE and they decided to send a new sim. This sim didn’t work so was advised to go to an EE store where the sim could be activated.

This sim does work as they put it in a mobile and called a number. In the router it is just searching all the time. In settings under network it keeps coming up with O2 network?

Also when I do a reset it has a preset APN for T mobile?

What an I doing wrong here? Is it just not compatible with EE sim or is the unit faulty.

The unit did a firmware update and still no luck. Before I send it back I just wanted to see if anyone can give advice. EE say the device is faulty and NETGEAR support sat it should just work without messing with the settings. 😡
