I use an internet connection via ISP fiber optic modem, through I can d/L up to 1Gbps and u/L up to 150 Mbps. If I put the RS400 between that modem and the downstream devices (some PCs, LAN cable connections), the previous speeds drop to 95 Mbps and 50-95 Mbps respectively.
The same issue could be experienced on wireless connections to RS400.
But if I remove RS400 and use a network switch with Gbps ports, the aforementioned speeds do not suffer decreases on downstream devices. This means that the problem is not on cables (cat. 5e) but in the fact of having positioned the RS400 between the modem and the devices.
