1.0.1.76 update for R6400 is *really* buggy
Anyone else have this issue? My system has been running flawlessly and yesterday I was advised by Netgear of a recommended firmware security update. After updating my AC1750 R6400 router to the latest firmware, 1.0.1.76, it refused to assign IPs to all my devices. They would connect, but the router wouldn't assign addresses. After spending 5 hours sorting *every* option, I ended up rolling back that update. Everything is performing flawless now.

I can't recall seeing a flood of similar complaints.
Search - NETGEAR Communities – R6400 firmware
That would have been a sign of a truly buggy release.
Did your troubleshooting go so far as a reset and reinstall. (No "settings restore".)
Can you remember which version you had before the latest update?
By the way, 1.0.1.76 is not the latest firmware for the R6400. That dates back to last October. There was a new one in March.
