Hi Netgear Community,
2.4 ghz bandwidth has stopped connecting on all devices (laptop, ipad, iphone). 5 ghz is fine. I tried factory reset, it didnt help. Firware is upto date (V1.1.0.34).
When I select 2.4 ghz band, it shows signal strength, but won't connect to internet.
Please help.
Thank you
Satish

Hi @SatishR6220,
1. Are the devices able to connect to the 2.4GHz band but are not able to go online?
2. You can try changing the wireless channel.
3. You can try changing the mode.
4. You may also try re-flashing the firmware then reset and reconfigure the router.

Re: 2.4ghz not connecting R6220
Hi Dexter,
I read one one of the blog topic to hold on reset button for 20 sec. (earlier I had rest just holding it probably 4-5 sec). I dont know how but it worked after resting with '20 sec' rule.
I will update after testing it for one more week.
Best

Re: 2.4ghz not connecting R6220
I used it nearly 3 weeks now.
It worked on both the bands for 4-5 days without any interruption however after that wifi signal is not constant. The connection gets disrupted every 5-10 min.
It's quite frustrating. I thought this is best wifi router which should be plug and play.
I don't know how to solve this problem? and it's quite costly router!

Hi @SatishR6220,
May I know if you have tried the other steps other than resetting the router?

Re: 2.4ghz not connecting R6220
I'm having the same issue. I've manually uploaded the firmware & factory reset multiple times. I still can't connect to 2.4 wifi. It keeps saying my credentials are wrong, but they're not. I've tried changing them too, but that didn't do anything.
