Just purchased a WNDR4300v2. Already have an R6100.
R6100 is connected to internet, and has a SSHD conected to it as well.
WNDR router is working fine as far as internet access, and WiFi but I cant figure out how to access the shared drive on the R6100 via the WNDR. Is this possible?

Normally, there should be one router in a network. So if you have 2 it's recommended that you use the other one in AP mode.

Re: 2 Netgear routers one with SSHD connected. Cant access shared drive from 2nd Router
Dug around and learned about turning a router into an Access Point. Did that, and now everybody can access the shared drive. Is this the best approach?

Thank you for the reply. I made the new router an Access Point, and everything appears to be working correctly.
