Re: AC 1200 night
What device do you have? AC1200 is a speed.
Is it meeting your needs?
What speeds do you pay for?
Do you use wired devices? Mostly wireless?
How many devices do you have connected?
A lot depends on your budget and if its meeting your needs. If it does everything you need with it, upgrading isn't always going to be that much better. But if you're getting buffering/slow downs or if you're paying for 600mbps and the router maxes out at 100mbps, then its worth it.
So details are key

I think this means " if it is working fine then you do not need to upgrade anything".
I agree with that sentiment.
But as @plemans says, "AC1200" could be one of many things.
For example, one AC1200 device is the R6100 WiFi Router. This is a basic device with slow Ethernet.
According to Netgear's manual for this device, not always the most reliable source of information, the LAN and WAN ports support only 10BASE-T or 100BASE-TX. That makes it slower than many newer internet services and most modern network hardware.
If @HugoCanton has an Internet service faster than 100 Mbps, then they are throwing away anything above 100 Mbps.
So, without knowing anything about the network that@HugoCanton has, it isn't possible to provide simple answer to the question.
