Advice needed on Router AC 1750 WIFI 5 R 6350
Details:
I have mediacom internet service
I have netgear modem purchased April 22
I have netgear router purchased Oct 2021
All worked fine, went out of town for vacation, come back, and no go.
Tried everything including talking to mediacom, no go.
Mediacom tech came out and tested all of their devices and properly working and set up. Was able to hook up and get streaming services through his devices.
He says the problem is with the router and my modem is fine.
It shows like I am connected, but not getting any internet.
Question/options:
(1) Should I just get a new router?
(2) If I call netgear and don't have support contract, they going to charge me more than cost of a modem to fix it?
Any recommendations?

What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?
What Firmware version is currently loaded?
Has a power off for 1 minute then back ON with the ISP modem and router been performed since last update?
Be sure to restart your network in this sequence:
Turn off and unplug modem.
Turn off router and computers.
Plug in and turn on modem. Wait 2 minutes for it to connect.
Turn on the router and wait 2 minutes for it to connect.
Turn on computers and rest of network.
Has a factory reset and setup from scratch been performed since last FW update?
