I ordered a 2021 release - 1.2 Gigabit Dual Band Signal Range Booster, up to 3000sq.ft - 5 GHz/2.4 GHz, Network Repeater, 30+ Devices, Indoors/Outdoors, Easy One-Click Set Up, Ethernet Portand would like to know if I run a cat 5 cable from my R6850 AC2000 router, will that work to get the full signal to the Ethernet port of the Signal Range Booster?
Thanks,
Paul

I bought a new router R6850 AC2000 and installed it correctly. All works great now. The WIFI extender works great as well. I found out that the network port is for conneting to a computer if the computer doesn't have a wireless adapter. Thanks for your help.

What actual model did you buy?
Some models offer an access point mode others only offer range extending.

I'm having a problem sending the photo (screenshot). May I send it to your email?

You'll have to check with whoever makes that extender. It isn't netgear.
