Enabling dynamic QoS on Netgear router
If dynamic QoS is enabled on a Netgear router connected to a switch, is there any need or advantage to having a managed Netgear switch with basically the same QoS feature? IOW, can the router take care of the entire network of attached devices as it relates to QoS, and thus all that's needed is an unmanaged switch?

Re: Enabling dynamic QoS on Netgear router
Its a little big vague of a question.
A couple things.
1. qos isn't recommended on most netgear routers if you have speeds over 250mbps.
2. some switches have a lot more capability for traffic managing than the simple qos in netgear consumer routers does. Its tough to lump them all in together and say the built in qos is enough for everyone. It might be for you while the next person needs the additional features.
