Failing to port forward to set up game server
Basically, i'm aiming to make a minecraft server to play with my friend on, that is i'm trying to port forward at 25565.
As far as i'm aware, i've done all the necessary steps for port-forwarding:
(Naturally the not-shown firewall rules are for inbound TCP, outbound TCP and outbound UDP at 25565)
But alas https://www.yougetsignal.com/tools/open-ports/ tells me the 25565 port is closed for my external IP. It does so even while i'm running the server.
A thing to note is that I live in a student dorm of sorts, so for all I know they could have done something that prevents me from port forwarding. However, what I do know is that I seemingly have my own ethernet output as well as the fact that I (am pretty sure I) did actually manage to port forward and made a functional server around the end of june this summer. So as far as i'm aware that sort of thing is unlikely.
I'm connected to the NETGEAR box with ethernet (and yes the IPv4 address is for that).
Firmware, as seen in the first image, is 1.1.0.62_1.0.1
I have no problems running the server locally, only non-locally is it failing.
I'm aware there's quite a lot of other posts, some which likely have my very problem, but I kinda failed to decypher them for my context with my lackluster internet understanding.
