How to set R6300v1 as a repeater from RX50
Hi everyone,
Sincerely seeking help from you all.
I'm upgrading my wifi router to RX50 for a bigger house, and would like to leverage my original R6300 as the repeater to extent my wifi signal coverage to the whole house rooms.
How can I manage the configurations of 2 routers, in terms of :-
a) how to set RX50 - keep as is, a normal router mode ? or need to change to AP ?
b) how to set R6300 - set as a repeater
Thanks in advanced and looking forward your great advice.

Re: How to set R6300v1 as a repeater from RX50
How big is this house?
If you haven't bought the RAX50 yet, a better choice is to spend a little more and go with an actual mesh system.
You can pickup a renewed RBK753 for around $200. Its a bit more expensive but will be faster, more stable, and much less of a headache versus cobbling together an RAX and a R6300 (that is slow anyway)

Thanks mate, for your reply.
The fact is RAX50 is on hand. May be another way out is, simply pickup a wifi extender, will anyway help, right ?

Try finding a EAX80 extender.
