Is it secure to enable access to ReadyShare USB drive using ftp://readyshare.routerlogin.net/shares/
I'm on Windows10, using WNDR3700v4. I enabled ReadyShare and I can see my USB drive in the router portal.
Mapping it as \\readyshare gives me an error that SMBv1 is no longer supported, but I don't even want to enable it, because of security concerns.
I enabled access method: ftp://readyshare.routerlogin.net/shares
It works. But, is this secure? Can an outside connection get to it and access my files?

I might be more worried about the general security of the WNDR3700v4. It dates back to 2013 and is based on a model from 2009.
There hasn't been a firmware update since 2018.
