My R6120(AC1200) never to work with W53 channels (52,56,60,64) actually, but W52 or W56 in place.
I have two of R6120-100JPS (AC1200).
Both of my R6120s never work with W53 channels (52,56,60,64) actually, but W52 or W56 channels in place as far as seeing status of connected WiFi STA devices and seeing with WiFi analyzer app., though I set & apply for them to use W53 channel on WebGUI again and again.
Although they show "p(52)+d(56)+d(60)+d(64)" as current channels setting in router status for administrator,
but actually not as far as believing their channels information provided by connected WiFi STA devices.
I have updated their F/W to the latest v1.0.0.82 from v1.0.0.44, but this strange symptom was not solved.
Does any one know the way to fix this issue symptom?

Those channels are dfs channels. If you have radar in your area, they're required to move off those channels.

Hi, plemans.
Thanks a lot.
No WiFi AP working with W53 channels is around here as far as seeing the scan result of WiFi Analyzer app..
So, a DFS rader must be the most possible reason, as you mentioned.
However, as far as seeing DFS rader location on google map, the nearest DFS rader is 32km away from here.
Does a DFS rader affect or cover such a wide range?
Otherwise, does an informal DFS rader exist around here ?

Thanks, plemans.
OK, I understood. You are right.
Approx. 5km away from US Army base with air port...
So, a DFS rader, unregistered on google map, must be in the base.

Fairly likely. Because it includes military radar, weather radar, and satellite communication.
