N600 Router Model WNDR3700v3 not connecting to internet

My N600 Router Model WNDR3700v3 which had previously worked is no longer connecting to the Internet. The Internet port light (in-between the Power and 2.4 GHz indicators) is a slow flashing amber light, not green.
I have followed the troubleshooting instructions in the proper sequence and also have resorted to using the "Restore Factory Settings" button. All to no avail.
I know the cable from the router to the modem (ubee from Timewarner Cable - my ISP) is good because when I bypass the router and connect the cable directly to my Dell Inspiron 15R Windows 10 computer it connects fine.
Your assistance is appreciated.
Thanks
