Netgear C6300
Hello,
I live in Texas and recently experienced a power outage for 4 days. Finally, the light was brought back on and I noticed my internet was no longer connecting anymore. I later found out that the modem is at fault. It only blinks a red light for a second and then goes off. None of the light at the front of the modem is on. I have always used a surge protector with the modem. I also tried factory reset (at the back) and that did not work. I am currently unemployed due to covid, so this unexpected modem replacement bill will be a big burden for me. I need my wifi to do school work and apply for jobs. Please, If anyone know how i can fix it, i will appreciate it.

Perhaps a surge or two?

Any with an equipment warranty?

Might be a bad modem+router or a bad power adapter. Can you test or
substitute the adapter?
