New Laptop to Network

I have various things in my house connected by wifi to my network and they all connected automatically, but when I tried to share files with my new Laptop it ask for a Name & Password to connect to my other 3 pc's through the network. So I can't look at the files on the main PC.
I never sat up a password or name for it. Except for the internet connection through the router. Which I had to do so they would go online. Should I just make my provider come to my house and setup the network? Or am I missing something?
Thank You
Jack

What asks? File Explorer? (I assume that "my new Laptop" runs
Windows, but feel free to provide some useful information.)

You never set up name+password on what, for what? Did you tell your
"my new Laptop" that this is a Private network?

You seem to have a Windows file-sharing problem, not anything to do
with the network hardware or configuration.

Re: New Laptop to Network
When I click the NETWORK icon in a file or anywhere else I see one other PC the main Desktop and when I click on it a box opens and says.
Widows Security
Enter Network Password box opens.
when I do the same thing on the new laptop it says;
Windows Security
ENTER NETWORK CREDENTIALS to connect to; MAIN PC
User Name
Password
When I click Homegroup It says no other PC's are awake and connected to the network ect. ect. and they are running right next to each other...lol
The home PC is running win.7
The new laptop = HP Spectre x 360 convertiable 17" Loaded. win 10
