Hi,
I have purchased this device today and I am a home maker - no network knowledge. Please help me to configure and connect with my Fibre Optic Network and use it with my mobile please.

Re: New to netgear WN3000RP v1H2 - how to install and configure to my mobile
There's a support site with access to manuals, firmware, install guides, etc.
Go to https://www.netgear.com/support/
Type in your model number and from there it'll take you to the above.
Its a great resource to start with.
also in AP setup: RAXE500->EAX80
1.4gig download/50mbps upload from Xfinity
We’re members of the public helping out on our own time.

Re: New to netgear WN3000RP v1H2 - how to install and configure to my mobile
The WN3000RP is a wifi range extender. (Netgear hasn't made the "V1" model in some time.) If that is what you are trying to connect, it needs a router of some sort in front of it.
How does the Fibre Optic Network reach you? A modem?
An Optical Network Terminal (ONT)? (That's a box on the wall that connects you to a fibre network.)
The trouble is that "Fibre Optic Network" can mean many things. ISPs like to boast that they have "fibre" but every network has fibre in it somewhere
Just another user with a set of boilerplate macros.
My network DM200 -> R7800 -> GS316 -> PL1000 -> Orbi RBR40 -> Orbi RBS50Y -> RBS40V
