Hi, I was just wondering how to connect my powerlines. I have seen many forums and tried them all. I have been using the powerlines since november, and since then they have been working but recently they will not connect with each other. They will when they are right next to each other, but no other distance.

Visit http://netgear.com/support , put in your model number, and look for Documentation. Get the User Manual (at least). Read. Look for the LED descriptions and "Troubleshoot".

Into what, exactly, are they plugged? As the User Manual says:
[...] Plug one PowerLINE device into a wall outlet [...]
[...] Make sure that power is supplied to the electrical outlet and that the PowerLINE device is not plugged into an extension cord, power strip, or surge protector.
Hardware can fail, and interference can occur, too.
