Problem after factory reset
After doing a factory reset, I am able to connect to the netgear network, but am unable to use the app or connect to the control panel. The app keeps saying router not found. I have cycled both my modem and the rotuer. Please help.

Re: Problem after factory reset
Try connecting with a ethernet connected PC and web browser pointed at 192.168.1.1

Re: Problem after factory reset
So, I tried 192.168.1.1, 192.168.0.1 in both http and https. I did it with a direct connection via ethernet on a desktop and also tried connecting to both the the standard netgear network and the 5Gigahertz netgear network on both my mobile and desktop. I cannot get to the admin screen. I've checked my modem (xfinity) and everything seems correct there, though I may be missing a setting that's causing a problem. Any suggestions are more than welcome.

Re: Problem after factory reset
What is the IP address your PC is getting from the router when it's ethernet connected?
There a router build in to the ISP modem/ONT?

This can happen when something else on your network is directing the traffic so that 192.168.1.1 gets lost.
The usual reason for this is that your modem also has a router in there trying to direct network the traffic. Many ISPs like to supply modem-routers.
Routers can sometimes spot the clash during setup and set themselves up to handle it. They can do that by giving the router a different IP address, something like 10.x.x.x rather then 192.168.x.x.
So, what's that xfinity modem?
