R6220 Bridge mode
How do I set my Netgear AC1200 router model R6220 to bridge mode? I need to do this in order to get rid of my double NAT for gaming console reasons.

Unfortunately, the pix mean nothing to me.
Did the link I sent earlier mean anything?

You can narrow down the options by looking fir the things on the modem. Does it have a row of Ethernet ports on the back? Does it do wifi?
On the gem, is there a user community out there somewhere? Its equivalent of this place.

This is the response I got from our ISP. I can't change any settings or will be cut off. So I guess I am screwed and can't play the game : )
Dear Jennifer Moulton,
Thank you for your request.
In my last email I said NO, changing it to AP mode (also called Bridge mode) will break your internal network, expose your devices to all SenaWave customers, and we would turn off your service.
You really only have two choices, find some workaround with the game developers or get a Public IP address.
Another option, not that I'm recommending it, is consult with our competitors on the UTOPIA network and see if one of them will provide you a Public IP address at no, or lower, charge.

That response sounds like complete junk. They clearly do not understand how this technology works.
The talk of a public IP address sort of confirms that.
I have given you a link on how you could try to put the ISP's device into bridge mode. If you try it and your connection still works, fine.
If not, then putting the R6220 into AP mode will have no impact on what the network sees at your end. That's the whole point.
Your other option is to find an ISP that does what customers want rather than imposing its ideas on everyone.
Have you talked to the people behind the game you want to use?

My thoughts exactly! I have tried reaching out to the game manufacturer (ubisoft) several times, but have not had any response back. I will keep trying. Here is an image of the tag on the DZS router. Don't know if this is the model number or not, but it was all I could find.
