Now I have more time to look at it,
WD100 GB was correctly formatted to work with time machine, journaled
I can connect to ReadyShare under Finder and I do see a T_Drive under it,
here is what it looks like under avai network folders
| Share Name | Read Access | Write Access | Folder Name | Volume Name | Total Space | Free Space |
| \\readyshare\USB_Storage | All - no password | All - no password | U:\ | EFI | 196.9M | 196.9M |
| \\readyshare\T_Drive | All - no password | All - no password | T:\ | Time Machine HD | 92.8G | 92.6G |
but when I go into Time Machine, select backup disk, I don't see it on the list

Hello everyone,
I too have a R6300v2 router and I can't seem to get Time Machine to recognize it when I click on "Select Disk" from the Time Machine Preferences. I'm on High Sierra 10.13.4. I set up my 2TB external USB HD by following the user guides and I can connect to the USB HD via readyshare but Time Machine doesnt recognize it. I didn't see anyone provide a solution to this problem.
Thank you!
