READYSHARE Finally Recognizes USB Drive on USB 2.0
After many months of trying off and on, I finally got my R8000 to recognize the USB drive so I could back-up to it and use it as a normal drive via Windows Explorer. I have to use the USB 2.0 port though. Not sure if USB 3.0 will work. It never did before.
Not sure what happened but I'm guessing it has to do with firmware and Windows 10 updates during he Covid crisis in response to demand from people working at home.
That said, I'm running firmware version V1.0.4.58_10.1.72 and am reluctant to change it since things seem to be working.
Thought I'd post to let folks know there is hope and see if anyone else can shed some light on how this got "solved".
