ReadyCLOUD App for Android & Apple OS

Hi
We've installed the Apple OS version of the ReadyCloud app to test if this is an option for working on documents remotely.
We've confirmed we have the lastest OS is on the device and we have the Office viewers for Word and Excel.
When we open up a document from within the ReadyCloud app we can view all of the information but we cannot edit the data.
We do have an option of opening with Word and then Save As but this surely defeats the object of working remotely and saving documents back to the Netgear box onsite.
Are we missing something here or will the app only allow you to view the data and not allow any changes to be made and saved back to the Netgear box remotely?
Also we need to know if this is also the case for an Android device as we don't have one to test on.
Thanks
Odette

Re: ReadyCLOUD App for Android & Apple OS
ReadyCloud can allow a user to add, change and delete files on the storage system by giving them Read/Write access. Please see ReadyCloud Permissions
You mentioned office viewers for MS Word and Excel, if you have not installed MS Office it will not let you make any changes the document.
But you opened with MS Word and Save as but you still cannot edit the document?
If you have MS Office then you might need to recheck the permissions you have set for the remote user that you are using for testing. The permissions set should be the same with Android devices.
Please check here for allowing permissions on ReadyCloud.
Hope this helps!
