Router is supposed to support upto 300Mbps, but only allows upto 100Mbps though my ISP is 250Mbps

My router model is DGND4000 and it is supposed to support 300Mbps in 2.4GHz band and upto 450Mpps in 5G band.

My ISP connection is 250 Mbps, which is verifiable using the LAN cable thru the router.

BUT in the wireless mode the router is not allowing more than 100Mbps.

How do i enable higher bandwidths on the router, what settings should I change?

Link speed isn't the same as throughput (actual) speed.

5ghz does much better at getting closer to it but its still only 55-65% of link speed. But it also doesn't broadcast as far or through as much materials.

2.4ghz is a slow network. hitting over 50mbps is actually pretty good with 2.4ghz.

I'd try reading through here: Understand Wi-Fi 4/5/6/6E (802.11 n/ac/ax) (duckware.com)
