Re: Router pr2000 n300 Trek bricked
Elaine, Many thanks for your answer. I unsuccessfully tried many times this guide...
- Unplug all port connections from router except the PC you are using to upload.
- Turn router OFF for 10 seconds.
- Hold down the reset button on the back of router with a paper clip.
- Power ON the router while holding down the reset button.
- Watch the Power LED. It starts with orange color, and then will start flashing orange.
- Power LED will then turn to flashing green. Count at least 10 flashing green LED and release the reset button.
- Click Upgrade button on the tftp2 utility to do firmware upgrade
Is it good for any netgear router? The pr2000 trek has no orange led, but 4 green leds, and if I try tftp2 it goes in timeout.
and if I keep pushing reset and turn on the power of the pr2000 the usb green led starts blinking, but again tftp2 goes in timeout.
Nobody else with the same issue?

Re: Router pr2000 n300 Trek bricked
If it can't be restored then it's totally bricked.
