Router won’t receive internet from modem
My spectrum internet service was recently disconnected and I had to start a brand new service as a result. I have a Nighthawk AC1200 router and a Netgear modem as well, both worked perfectly fine with my previous spectrum service. Now however, my router will not receive internet from the modem despite my modem showing it has internet and that it is connected to the router. The Internet light on the router is also not lighting up but the wifi light is green and flickers occasionally. Ive factory reset the router twice and tried a different Ethernet cord to no avail. Nighthawk’s app when I’m attempting to set up the router will get all the way to the last stage that says “cables connected” but comes back saying “no internet connection.” I’ve tried to connect with PPPoE which didn’t do anything and I know I didn’t pay for a static IP with spectrum. Don’t ask me if Ive power cycled the router/modem I’ve unplugged and plugged back in both machines more times than I can count by this point. I’m not able to use a computer to configure my router as the Ethernet port on my laptop is broken. I have no idea what else to do I’m at a complete loss.

Which Netgear devices are these? The model numbers?
AC1200 is not a reliable guide to model number. Many devices come with an AC tag, but it is essentially a label that Netgear, and other brands, attach to hardware to describe wifi speeds.
Look at the label on the device for the model number.
By the way, AC1200 is a pretty ancient wifi standard that dates back to around 2013 in Netgear's routers. ("AX" became the range a while back.) But it should still work.

But did you do it in the right order?
