WNDR 6300v2 looses WiFi speed over time, and cannot select 5Ghz channels
Hi!
I have an older router - WNDR 6300v2 (charter version).
My network speed is 200Mbps and I know the max speed is provided by the internet company (Testing wired connection from router to my computer results in ~205/200Mbps at any time).
However, WiFi from the Router to any device results to 140/140 normally and cannot go higher. It was like this for some years.
I decided it was due to the limits of my router, however, decided to do some tests. My router could not upgrade to a newer FW as it was Charter version.
I followed the procedure here: https://community.netgear.com/t5/General-WiFi-Routers-Non/R6300v2-firmware-not-updating-from-V1-0-3-... , and to my surprise I was able to use both, DD-WRT and later upgrade to the latest Netgear FW on the download site without any issues.
What surprised me even more was that all WiFi devices started to hit max speed as well on both FW - tablet / laptop / phone - all could get ~200 up/down. They are all either AC or AX devices.
I updated to the latest Netgear FW as I mentioned and was happy that I got max out of the device. However, my 200Mbps speed lasted until the evening - and then all WiFi devices started to do exactly the same as before - 140/140 max on any wireless device... 😞
What could be the possible cause? Restart of the router does not help.
P.S. Another issue (but that does not bother me so much) is that I cannot change channel on 5Ghz. On DD-WRT I noticed I could select width and Ch . On the Netgear FW I can only select Ch for 2.4 and there is no option at all for 5Ghz....?
However, judging by the manual - it does not mention any such options for 5Ghz for some reason.
I looked at settings and it seems that pre-selected Ch = 149 + 153(P) + 157 + 161 (Please see attached files / screenshots).
Well, maybe it is time for my old good router to be retired finally.
Any comments?

Re: WNDR 6300v2 looses WiFi speed over time, and cannot select 5Ghz channels
I tested this morning again, and the wired connection is the same max 200/200 as it should be.
My phone (AC 2x2) could not go higher than 100Mbps on wireless until I restarted the router / phone (Now 140 is the limit again), other devices also hit max 140. Ping is normally 3-5 ms, jitter - 0.2 - 1ms across all devices.
