The model has been considered EOL for awhile now and there will be no future firmware enhancements that will be released.

Re: WNDR4500v2 E-Mail port number
What are you trying to do? Set up email alerts?
There is a manual for the WNDR4500v2 somewhere at the end of this link:
>>> WNDR4500v2 | Product | Support | NETGEAR <<<
See page 74.

Re: WNDR4500v2 E-Mail port number
If it isn't available already, that isn't the sort of thing that new firmware is likely to add.
On my device it is in:

Can't (yet) see the picture. A plain-text description might appear
sooner.
I know nothing about these routers' e-mail capabilities, but a
standard notation would be "<name_or_address>:<port>". Adding ":587" to
the Mail Server name/address should be an easy experiment to run.

Still true.

Huh? Is there a place to put the Mail Server name/address? Can you
add ":587" to what you have there now? It's not complicated.

Re: WNDR4500v2 E-Mail port number
Any chance that you can find one of those free email services that can use the device's native settings and then forward the messages to your existing email?
Maybe something like Google would work.
