Every 4 or 5 days my WNR3500L drops the internet connection and the wifi-connections.
I run with firmware V1.2.2.48_35.0.55 (the latest).
When I switch the power off and on again the router works again.
Can anybody give me some advice?

Re: WNR3500 keeps dropping the connection
is the issue both wired and wireless?
if wireless only - change the wireless channel - use NETGEAR Desktop Genie > WiFi Connect > Wifi Analytics
it will give u some recomended channel under Channel Interference tab

Re: WNR3500 keeps dropping the connection
If you bypass the router, will you get a stable connection directly to the modem?
By the way, who is your ISP?

Re: WNR3500 keeps dropping the connection
Provicer is Ziggo (mdm is Cisco EPC3212).
This is mostly a stable connection.
The strange thing is that my Netgear has worked stable for about 2 jears (with same Cisco mdm), before this problems occured.

Re: WNR3500 keeps dropping the connection
Did you try to change LAN ports? How about trying a different Ethernet cable?
What lights are turned on when the problem happens?
How many wireless devices are connecting to the router? Are there any devices that may cause interference?
Try to reflash the firmware and reset afterwards.

Re: WNR3500 keeps dropping the connection
Hi, I reflashed the firmware yesterday, but this morning the router hung again.
Powerled is green, i-led is green, wifi is blinking blue, direct lanport is orange.
http://www.routerlogin.net. was not accessable with any system (wired and wireless)
When I recycle the power everyting works 'normal'.

Re: WNR3500 keeps dropping the connection
Hello, it is me again 🙂
I have read your solution, but just before I down-graded the firmware version, I noticed that www.routerlogin.net was blinking on the right part of the screen. It took about 3 minutes before i could select the upgrade section.
The powerlight was continuous green.
The internet was blinking green.
The wireless was blinking blue.
The LAN-port was blinking orange.
Maybe helps this information to detect the problem of my router.
I will inform you if the firmware downgrading gives a stable situation.
