need help with resetting password for the router

Hi, it came to my knowledge that Netgear router can block certain websites and games. I turn on the website blocker on the Netgear app but that was over a year and a half ago. I was wondering could I be able to reset the Netgear router and connect it to a new Netgear account?

But that has not much, if anything, to do with a "Netgear account".

What new Netgear account is this? Account for what?

You don't usually need a "Netgear account" to manage your router.

Is that the mobile device app? Where did you make that setting? I can't see any "access control" in the Nighthawk app.

It might help if you told people just what this router is.
