ye i checked cables aswell, the power was correctly placed, aswell as ethernet cables. So might just be a loose connection somewhere in the router,
it still didnt drop since the reset, so i hope this will stay. If this problem does come back i might just send this router back to the shop i bought it from to get a new one
Kind regards

also note that i restarted the router from 192.168.1.1 manually, and that it didn't go down for the last day. A friend from work told me that it's possible that a connection inside the router might be bad ( like melted a bit or something) and if the routers makes connection to multiple devices that the connection overheats and my router goes down. Seems quite a possible way, altho the router is only 7 months old, and max users on the router is 3 pc's

hi,
since the reset, the router didnt go down anymore, sometimes the internet light turns amber color for a sec, but afterwards the internet is back. So only freezes the net for a couple of secs and then pages/games load further

Did you try changing the cable between the modem and router?
If the connection from the modem is working fine, perhaps it could be a hardware problem.
You may want to consider upgrading your router to a newer one.
