Connecting XS7xxT with GS7xxTS with AXC761 DAC

Hello Netgear community,

We have a 10G XS712T switches and a new 3 x GS752TX stack.
Can we use AXC761 DAC to connect the XS712T with the GS752TX stack ?
If not, any suggestions of other options we could try.

Thanks in advance,

bscaz

Model: GS752TPS(B)|ProSAFE 48-Port Gigabit Stackable Smart Switch with PoE and 4 SFP uplinks, XS712T|ProSAFE 12-port Smart Switch with 10G fiber|EOL

HI bscaz,

Welcome to our community!

Yes you can use the AXC761 to to the interconnection , the only think is that please make sure that the GS752TX ports are configured in Ethernet mode and not Stacking mode.  You can check it under the Stacking Menu on the System Tab:

Moreover you can use 2xAXC761 and configure a LAG between the GS752TX and the XS712T so you can have redundant uplinks.

Hope it Helps!
